Dr. Chakote was born and raised in Long Island, New York. He started his professional journey into dentistry after personally experiencing its impact through corrective jaw surgery and orthodontics that bettered his smile and confidence. He attended University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. He then pursued a one-year surgical internship at The Ohio State University, where he trained in numerous intraoral surgical procedures. He concluded his residency training at Georgia School of Orthodontics, where he had broad exposure to all aspects of orthodontic treatment.
Dr. Chakote is board-certified and a diplomate of the America Board of Orthodontics (ABO). He is an active member of numerous dental and orthodontic organizations, including: American Dental Association (ADA), Georgia Dental Association (GDA), American Board of Orthodontics (ABO), and American Association of Orthodontists (AAO).
Dr. Chakote resides in Atlanta with his wife, Sruthi, and two children. Outside of Orthodontics, his interests are reading and enjoying all things related to his kids, including exploring parks and playgrounds, eating all over Atlanta, and traveling.
